Rita incorporated Destiny Tours in Oct 1998 and opened the office in March 1999. What an adventure it has been since then. Rita and John ran their first tour to the World Junior hockey Championships to Sweden in December 1999 with a group size of 23 people. The most recent 12th World Junior Hockey tour to Helsinki, Finland (Jan 2016) hit a record 529 people. Rita’s education in Marketing along with her previous sales, co-ordinator and management experience in publishing, retail, an employment agency and a tour company have assisted her in operating Destiny Tours. Dealing with people and providing an experience to customers is what she loves most about her job.

John wears many hats for Destiny. His 9+ years experience in computer support, database programming and web development has come in very handy with setting up and maintaining our PC network, web site and email. Previous to this, John was employed as a sales rep for a local IBM PC dealership for 6 years and also ran his own live concert production business back in the mid-80s. What John loves most about the business is the challenge of creating new and exciting tours, especially for our World Junior and minor hockey programs.

Norah joined Destiny Tours August of 2008 as an Outside Travel and Tour Consultant. She is based in London, Ontario covering the Southwestern Ontario Region. She has 27 years of experience as a travel consultant. She specializes in planning leisure, corporate and group travel. Norah's travels have taken her to over 45 countries. She has travelled throughout the Caribbean, Hawaii, Canada, U.S.A., Europe, and New Zealand. Her passion is to cruise to as many countries as she can. Her cruise destinations have taken her to the Caribbean Islands, South America, Alaska, Greek Islands, Bermuda, Europe, Central America, Panama Canal, Australia, South Pacific, North Atlantic, Iceland and Russia. She also has traveled by rail throughout parts of Europe.
